Yay another interview! This one is with Musiq4lyf off of Wattpad. She's pretty popular, yeah I know I have connections. Lol well this interview is equally entertaining as the last. Hope you like! Loved asking her questions!

What is your name or what do you go by on Wattpad?

My name is Asiah.

How does it feel to be graduating high school?

It feels really freaking amazing to be graduating from highschool. It's hard to believe, like I still feel like I have a month left, but I really don't.

You are the writer of the frighteningly popular The STD Trace, and many other books. How do you come up with all your ideas (and keep going?)?

Honestly, my ideas come from the most random parts of my brain somehow. I can be using the restroom and gain inspiration. It's no wonder I don't write an entire story on the coolness of crayons or something. Ha But I just keep an open mind and let my experiences help guide me into something great.

With nearly 30k votes and over 2.5k fans, many would consider you among the popular writers of Wattpad, how does this translate to real life?

Ooh, great question. Well, I'm pretty popular on all my social networks, Tumblr being my most famous one and I don't know, I just have this uncanny ability to be obsessed with the internet and entertaining others. Also among actual people as well, I'm just me and it works out. I just be myself and do what I enjoy.

Does the popularity affect your writing?

The popularity does affect my writing, a little bit. It affects the speed in which I write for one. If my fans irritate me, I lose the will to write sometimes because I'm over them all. Or if they harp on me to update makes me less willing because then I feel like I'm not writing for me anymore.

What are you planning on majoring in in college?

I plan to major in journalism in college. I have to keep writing and I love being around people and interviewing them and keeping them updated on the going ons of the world.

Do you see yourself trying to get published any time in the future? If so with which book?

I do see myself getting published someday in the future. I'd publish The STD Trace for sure. People really seem to find a connection to it so I hope others someday can too.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is a mix of writing, singing, and acting. Regardless, I just want to entertain people.

Does your life influence anything you write? If so, how?

My life influences a ton of my writing. I have really crazy friends, and as a theater kid, I've grown up around some super dramatic and wild people. I am crazy myself and I watch a crap load of TV. I've had some hardships that cause some emotional things in my writings.

How did you get so popular?

I think I got popular right when I started The STD Trace. It got a lot of reads pretty fast and then it was always in the top 100 for Teen Fiction in the rankings. Then it was never below the top 50 and kept getting higher and higher. People started to realize I was a great writer and then decided to stick around for the long run.

You've received a LOT of hate due to your character Omunique (who is my lezzie crush btw) in The STD Trace, is there something you want to say right now about it?

I'd just like to say that I adore Omunique and she was even more fun to write than Hannah sometimes. I don't care if people don't like black people or if black people think I'm racist for having her be a not so perfect speaker. I like to be realistic and humorous, not polished and reserved when I write.

You've written everything from teen fiction to dystopian to high fantasy, is there a limit to your imagination? Meaning, are there certain genres you wouldn't touch?

Hm, this is a great question. Ah, well, I don't think I'd get into the horror genre because anything scary makes me laugh. I don't know, nothing scares me so I wouldn't be able to write that genre. Anything other than that, I think I wouldn't mind doing a mystery or something of that caliber.

How do you put up with the hate that you get?

Well, as a social networking queen and a theater kid that is actually talented at her craft, I get it all the time. It used to get to me, but I realize no one says anything to you if you have nothing to lose. What I mean is, if people don't think they can get anything out of hating on you, then they wouldn't do it. Power to me, I guess.

As some of your more dedicated fans know, you sing, act, and write. Do you have any other talents you'd like to share with us?

I can burp like a man... o.o Does that count? And I can type like super fast. I'm the Flash when I type.

How did you start writing?

Meg Cabot was my initial inspiration to begin. I started writing as a little kid and let me tell you, I was cleaning out my room the other day since I'll soon not be living at the casa anymore, and I found some of my old writing from like fourth grade and up. It made me want to cry. The grammar is crazy horrible but the idea, the formidable idea is so raw and promising, I now see that I was truly born to do it.

What books would you recommend on Wattpad?

I'd reccomend anything by the amazing Malak, of course ;) Parogar and Sally Slater are fantastic. Also, demonicblackcat for teen fiction and bieetcheroar if you like more adult things.

Off of Wattpad?

Off of Wattpad, Sarah Dessen is flawless, I adore her. Meg Cabot is my ultimate fav since I was little.

Favorite movie?

I am bad at decisions, so, my favorite movie(s) are Mean Girls for sure, Pitch Perfect, and Crazy, Stupid, Love.

If you could go anywhere in the world, fictional places included, where would you go?

I'm a simple gal, so I want to go to New York so very badly. I'd cut off one of my fan's limbs to go there. Just kidding... or am I? [Insert maniacal laugh here]

Do you think Cam Gigandet is hot?

Cam Gigandet is perfection. His abs...sweet baby Jesus.

Are you going to do anymore acting/singing in college?

Yes, I do plan on trying out for things if I enjoy what my school is producing. Also, I'm most likely going to be in the choir to waive my out of state fees ha

Do your friends know about Wattpad? Have any of them read your work?

Some of my friends know about my Wattpad and have read The STD Trace and absolutely adore it. They always tell me, "It seems like something you would write, it's definitely you."

Who is hotter Lance Gross or Shia LaBeouf (look Lance up if you don't know who he his)?

I'm insulted, Malak, that you think that I wouldn't know who Lance Gross was. He is my sexy chocolate and I love him. He's way too sexy for words. If I met him, I swear... Roar.

N*Sync or the Backstreet Boys?

NSync was like a big part of my childhood, so them all the way. Plus the members were hotter and they had more hits.

Would you ever write a book about vampires or werewolves?

I actually have two Vampire books in my head. One called Bloodsinger and another called Prophecies: The Uniter. But I don't know who would want to read them. I'd put werewolves into the Prophecies book but I honestly don't think they are that interesting to write about as stand alone characters. Sorry, ha, considering how everyone mates them in stories. Yawn, boring.

What do you believe are your strengths in writing? Weaknesses?

My strengths are humor and dialogue.
My weaknesses would be details, and leaving out everyday things such as periods, hygiene, and PARENTS. Ha

How much are you selling Winston for? C'mon, you need to pay for college somehow ;)

LMAO. I'm sorry, he's all mine. I need him to help me get through college sane. ;)

Of the books that you've written, which is you favorite? Second favorite?

My favorite is The STD Trace and my second favorite is Slutty & Proud. I love the characters.

Do you get writer's block? If so, how do you deal with it?

I get it more often nowadays as I have gotten older. I just take a break and do something else until I get inspired to write again. It's really all I can do.

Which character of yours do you love the most?

That's hard. I think I love Vivianne the most from Blue Pearl of Azarash because she's like me in so many ways. She's not as funny as some of my other characters but she's charming in her own way. I adore her confidence, bluntness, and independence. She's not perfect and she tries to be strong for everyone. That's what makes her great.

Anything you'd like to tell your fans?

Well fans, even though you always harp on me to update...I'd just like to say I DO HAVE A FREAKING LIFE IF YOU MUST KNOW. And I love you all.
