Songs That Fit Characters

1). Feel Again

Feel again fits Alec and a certain someone (I can't spoil it, guys!) in The Wyvern's Tale. Anyone who has read up to the most recent chapter would agree.  I mean Alec is this AMAZING character, if you like characters in Bellows like Gwen or Scott you would LOVE Alec. He's great. & anyway, part of his story line is that he's had a somewhat troubled (oKAY IT'S VERY MESSED UP) and then he meets someone who makes him feel again, which he hasn't done in so very long.

2). Dark Side

We'll get to Muffy, lol although the title would indicate that, but if you listen to this it definitely fits Ben and Lillyana from Ultimate Price (I'm thinking of retitling it as Enthrall, what do ya'll think? Not that anyone will actually respond but you know, worth a try).
"Everybody's got a dark side, do you love me? Can you love mine?" It fits them so well it's actually quite frightening. And both sides, although the dark side is def. Lillyana mostly. But it's just...ahhhhh ALL THE FEELS.
(RedDelicious on Wattpad was the one who pointed me in the direction of this one. Check her out! Click on the word RedDelicious).

3). Shake It Out

Guys, I like Florence + the Machine. A LOT. & this song fits Muffy so well. In every way possible. Literally and metaphorically. "All the ghouls come out to play. and every demon wants his pound of flesh." It's so perfect I can't even. I just can't explain...I it's hard to put into words how well it fits.

4). Daylight

Omg. This fits my book Feral (to be written soon! Ish. It's a side dish. I'm sure i've explained them but if it wasn't clear, I'll elaborate in a blog post that no one will read sometime). The relationship between the two main characters & just the themes. It's AMAZING. Okay, so the MC Scarlett, is a Psychic (takes place in Bellowsverse) police investigator in London, and Kien is a vampire. It's just so perfect. you'll see how perfect once I post it. Although even if I finish before Book 3, I don't want to post it till after this one and probs halfway through Book 4. Also, I will be bothering any and all Brits/Irish peeps when I really start writing it. (Kien is Irish. SWOOOOOON). *clears throat* I apologize for all the fangirling I do over my own characters.

5). Stronger

I know I've mentioned this one, Don't Hate the Player (it's not about players at all. Actually, it's form the phrase Don't hate the player, hate the game. Which is quoted quite a bit in the story. Okay not that I have written it but the parts in my head that HAVE been written...). Anyways this fits Delilah (Del) so well. She is a strong character. So strong. & it has A LOT of depth actually.

6). Eyes  Open

Totally fits 6019 and the whole running away thing, and just the entire premise of Aero and Plasmina's plot line (two of the MC's). It might not be a "perfect" fit, but it's pretty damn close.

7). Come Away to the Water

This fits a lot of characters actually: Muffy (duh), Sage from The Wyvern's Tale, Plasmina (6019), Lucy /Duke (Circuited), and Blaze from Lineage. This whole song is basically saying we're coming for you, if you die we can live. So yeah. I mean some aspects of it work for this character in this story, some for this, in this one. Overall, an awesome song.

8). Just A Game

This one also fits quite a few. It really reminds me of the UNTITLED DYSTOPIAN PROJECT I mentioned once upon a time. It also, again, works for Muffy. & a lot of other characters really. But I think it works best for the unnamed characters in that book. (It's going to be so much fun to write :D). This also works for Duke/Lucy in Circuited also.

9). Mercenary

This fits Ace pretty well. (The Wyvern's Tale) I mean more the meaning behind it, not the whole literal lyrics. Like the first part (okay so it's batman-y but we can ignore that part) The first part is about a thief, referencing Catwoman but we can ignore that part. Anyway, Ace is a thief in the beginning. The part of the dancefloor is actually about fighting (I looked up the meaning btw), which Ace does later on. & then "In love I've always been a mercenary..." this is actually referencing Batman's playboy ways, but I think we can look at it as Ace being pretty distant from most people on the love side of things. He's afraid of really caring about someone (there is one person, but you have to read it) because of what happened to him when he was younger. He's nothing as bad as Alec, and he does care, he's just careful not to get too attached. And then the bellman part can be dismissed. "Hey kid..." is actually about Robin, but Ace is also a kid so ;) & that was a dissertation by yours truly.

10). Never Let Me Go

Have I mentioned I'm a Florence fan? Anyway, all her songs are so perfect. This one applies to quite a few character pairings. We can use a certain pair in Band Camp, ID, WT,  UP, and books to come (Feral, DHTP, Malevolent, TOQ etc). It's just so perfect. And when my characters fall in love or are infatuated with someone, I try to never make it shallow and it's always like they not only want each other but need  each other. & not in the "I can't live without you" sense, it's the I can, but I don't want to type thing. It's different for each story so I won't go in depth on this one.

Some insight into my mind and some characters you may/may not know! Peace.
