I've been dying via band camp all week, but this weekend is a nice break. Or it would be if I weren't working fourteen hours. Today, I have a six hour shift, and tomorrow I have an eight hour shift (yay).
anyways there are some things that I'd like to do this weekend, should I have the time. Like get the first chapter of Spirits & Flawless written and posted so that I have something on those stories and then I'll send them to the backburner once more.
And of course, I'm thinking about re-writing Band Camp (it's only fitting), so I'm thinking about doing that and maybe changing it to third person? It's very Ari-oriented so I feel like first person does fit the story really well. Anyway, if I finish the rewrite, I'll unpublish the current Band Camp and repost it all fresh and new with possibly a new title and cover.
Then, I need to practice my music and get the first and second song down completely, and hopefully a bit of the third song, but I need to practice the first a lot with a metronome bc at the moment I really suck at marching and playing like oops.
And then I think I'm going to start planning some college essays and short stories I want to enter in contests so that I jump out as an applicant (maybe?) for colleges.
Then, I hope to get something even if it's a sentence written for WT.
Of course between working and sleeping, most of this will not happen, but I really, really hope it all works out.
Spirits & Flawless are stories that I write when I'm feelin' some type of way. Spirits is for my dark moments and Flawless is more of a fluff piece that I write whenever, which I think I'll need something that isn't serious during senior year because I'm going to die with all that I'm doing.
I'm kind of really into rewriting Band Camp, and hopefully, it will be stronger this time around. I planned it out and the plot is a little sketchy but I think it will be a much better story.
But yeah. Once done with that, my focus will solely WT and then I will finish it and repost the first draft so that I can get valuable feedback for the rewrite. But, of course, senior year is probably going to make it hard to write so my goal is to finish WT by 2015, but I'm not going to stress myself out about it.
Okay well see ya
