The editing fairies have landed, and are now sprinkling me with their magic dust.
Unfortunately, they chose to do this in one of my more stressful weeks. I'm trying to get my grades up, and keep up. Yeah. It kind of sucks.
But I was suddenly struck with the thought today, in the middle of me imagining Ben and Lillyana scenes/ just having Ben go off in my head (seriously, I don't understand why his voice comes so much more easily for me. I think I have a problem), that since the beginning itself is the hardest part for me to write now (I have no idea how to captivate and not bore), that what if I started in the middle? I mean I could write as much as I can, and it could lead to either me knowing exactly how to start the beginning or finishing it to the end and working backwards.
I want to run with it...
But I don't have the time
*takes a deep breath*
But just an update about how I'm going to tackle editing from now on (er, well from the point I start doing it on).
Also, for the TNS fans. The second draft will be a lot better. This will be true. I haven't decided on the specifics, but I will be adding a more captivating beginning (A Prologue that emulates the fantasy aspect better than the original beginning) plus you know other stuff. Also, after the boook parts end (I'll reduce the chapters to about forty or so) I'm going to add a bunch of outtakes, fun facts, one-shots, all that EXTRA kind of stuff.
It'll be fabulous.
So there you have it! & I managed to keep the complaints to a minimum. Oh & it seems as though no one has played the game with me on the Guess the character post.
So I've come to suspect that I'm actually posting these only for myself to read, and if anyone does visit they probably just look at the pictures, get bored, and leave.
For some reason I feel like this happens with my books too.
So basically I'm just going to do whatever I peanuts.
Because no one actually fishsticks.
So really what's the point in saying orange peels meaningful?
Kay. Adios Muchachos.
